Spirited Away, but Sonically Survived

As a working stiff (boo!) there's rarely any time for travel past south eastern region. That being said... After seeing the lineup for Lollapalooza knowing that I would not be able to make it, my musical essence was spirited away. Thank goodness for the endless possibilities of the internet! I was able to spend the weekend in Chicago a few weeks ago virtually at Pitchfork Music Festival which possessed a stellar lineup for the weekend that culminated in The Flamings Lips boisterous performance of new material.

Missing another great musical experience, I can cope with the loss through beer and a strong stream signal from Chicago. About to ditch the current location to catch Of Montreal's set. Hopefully it is ripe with androgyny and huge stage props... [Updates to follow]
